    The SAF-T Auto Center Training Program accomplishes two things.   First, it introduces the franchisee to his facility and his equipment, making him thoroughly familiar with them.  Second, it teaches the franchisee our business system through the contents of our Operations Manual.

    The heart of our training program is our Operations Manual.  If you've been accepted as a SAF-T Auto Center franchisee, you've already proven that you are a professional auto technician.  We don't need to show you how to repair cars.

    What our operations manual does is to show you how to run your business successfully.   Because our franchisees have never been in business for themselves, our training program gives them the necessary business guidance they need to succeed.

    We first train you in community relations, public image, brand name, and pricing policies.   These are all critical aspects of marketing.  Then we proceed to maintaining shop appearance, housekeeping, and opening and closing procedures.

    We then discuss in detail customer relations starting with telephone inquiries, greeting the customer, accepting his car, delivering his car, as well as accepting his money or check.  Customer credit is discussed, as well as handling customer complaints (and how to avoid complaints in the first place).

    Our product guarantee program is a feature of our service to our customers and of our competitive strength.  You'll learn all the details of how our program works during your training sessions.

    Lastly we explain how to use our forms and our reporting system and why it's important to keep accurate and up-to-date records.

    In summary, it is very important for you to note that the training is always geared towards business applications, since this is the area in which our franchisees usually have the least amount of experience, and require the most amount of support and guidance.
