Function
The exhaust system directs and cleans the exhaust, the waste of your engine, through a series of pipes, catalytic converter(s) and then the mufflers.

Maintenance
Your vehicle's exhaust system should be inspected periodically. A SAF-T Auto Centers technician will inspect the exhaust system for visible rust or corrosion. Your technician will also listen for rattles in the mufflers, resonators and catalytic converters indicating broken internal parts. The exhaust manifold is also inspected for cracks.
